Ministry of Lands Functions
The Ministry of Land works to provide all services related to land to the people. At present, Directorate of Land Records and Survey, Land Reforms Board, Land Appeal Board, Land Administration Training Center and Comptroller’s Office work under the Ministry of Lands. Besides, commissioner at divisional level, collector at district level, assistant commissioner at upazila level, union land assistant officer at union level are engaged in providing land related services. The Ministry of Lands deals with land development tax and revenue collection, special land management and settlement, watershed management, land acquisition and possession, land record preparation and surveying and training of land related officers/employees etc. Besides, collection of land development tax through various banks completes the reform activities and rehabilitation activities of landless marginalized people. Under the Char Development and Settlement Project, landless land settlement, construction and repair of upazila and union land offices, providing land related services to the public in the shortest possible time are carried out by the Ministry of Lands. Ministry of Land has published the recruitment circular for the proper management of these activities.
Ministry of Lands invites applications from interested candidates for direct recruitment of permanent posts under revenue sector. Published the recruitment circular on 25 July 2023. A total of 281 vacancies will be appointed in the Ministry of Lands. Only citizens of Bangladesh can apply for self-employed posts. Online application starts on 01 July 2023 and ends on 30 August 2023. Those who are interested to apply for the said vacancy should apply through the website www.minland.gov.bd. To apply, you need to know what else is required, including the educational qualification documents, by looking at the recruitment circular. Applicant must be between 18 to 30 years of age. 32 years will be applicable in case of release.
